About Little Light Stories
What is Little Light Stories?
Little Light Stories is a publisher of illustrated Bible story picture books for children ages 4–8. Every book retells one Bible story faithfully, in simple words, with big easy-to-read text on the left page and a full-page illustration on the right. The books are sold at little-light-stories.com as hardcovers (free worldwide shipping) and as instant digital downloads.
Are the stories accurate to the Bible?
Yes. Every retelling starts with the Bible text itself and is checked against it. Each book names the passage it is based on (for example, Noah and the Rainbow Promise is based on Genesis 6–9). We simplify the language for young children, but we do not change what happens.
Which Bible stories do you have?
Eighteen books so far: God Made Everything Good (Creation), Noah and the Rainbow Promise, Abraham and the Stars, Joseph and the Colorful Coat, Moses and the Red Sea, David and Goliath, Daniel and the Lions, Jonah and the Big Fish, The First Christmas, Jesus Calms the Storm, Five Loaves and Two Fish, Come Down Zacchaeus, The Morning Jesus Was Alive (Easter), Fish for People, Through the Roof, Jesus Walks on the Water, The Lost Lamb and A Donkey for the King (Palm Sunday). New stories are added regularly.
What age are the books for?
Ages 4–8. Four- and five-year-olds enjoy having the books read to them; six- to eight-year-olds can read the large text themselves. Each book takes about three minutes to read aloud.
Who is the little animal in each book?
Every story has a small side character (Pip the bunny, Hope the dove, Dusty the donkey, Tali the fish and others) who asks your child a question during the story, so reading becomes a conversation. Each book also ends with a Bible verse to remember and “Talk about it” questions.

What are the hardcover books like?
Hardcover with a matte cover, 21 × 28 cm (8.3 × 11 in), 32 full-color pages on thick 170 gsm silk paper. Text on the left page, a full-page illustration on the right, like a classic storybook.
How much do hardcovers cost and do you ship worldwide?
Hardcovers are $34.99 each with free shipping worldwide. Books are printed to order by our print partner and shipped from the facility closest to you.
How long does delivery take?
Printing takes a few working days, and delivery depends on your country. Please allow about one to two weeks, and order early for Christmas and Easter. Need it tonight? Choose the digital edition.
Digital editions
What is a digital edition?
The complete book (33 pages, portrait, high resolution), identical to the hardcover, delivered as an instant download. It reads beautifully on an iPad, tablet, laptop or TV, and you can print it at home.
How do I receive my digital download?
Your download link is emailed automatically right after checkout. Digital editions are $10 each; The Complete Collection gives you all 18 books for $45 and The Jesus Stories Collection gives you 5 books about Jesus for $25.
Can I share the digital files?
Digital editions are for personal and family use. Please don't share or resell the files. Churches and schools: contact us for a group license.
