Our story

Little Light Stories began with one simple wish: that every child would grow up knowing how deeply God loves them.

How it began

A little light in a big world

Children today are surrounded by noise: screens, fast videos and stories that are forgotten by morning. We longed for something different. Something slow and warm. The kind of book a child carries to you at bedtime and says, “Again, please!”

We remembered the storybooks so many of us grew up with: big, beautiful pictures, words made for reading aloud, and characters that felt like friends. And we wondered: what if the greatest stories ever told, the stories of the Bible, were brought to life that way for the children of today?

That question became Little Light Stories.

Why “Little Light”?

Every child is a little light

Jesus called His followers the light of the world, and we believe that includes the smallest ones. Every child is a little light, made by God and loved by Him.

Our stories are here to help that light shine: with faith, courage and kindness, and with the quiet certainty that God is always near, in the garden, on the stormy sea and at the empty tomb on Easter morning.

How we make every book

Faithful first, then wonderful

Every story starts with the Bible itself. We read the passage carefully and retell it in simple words a four-year-old can follow, without adding what isn't there or leaving out what matters.

Then we give it the heart of a classic storybook: a beginning, a struggle and a joyful ending. Big, easy-to-read text on the left page and a full-page illustration on the right, so little ones can follow every moment while you read.

A friend in every story

Meet the little friends

In every book, a small friend joins the story: a bunny in the garden, a dove on the ark, a mouse in Babylon. Halfway through and at the very end, they ask your child a question, turning reading time into talking time.
